Enjoy Coastal living and a wonderful, supportive Pediatric Specialty community in a state with no state income tax!   Physician opportunity with Pediatric Endocrinology group in well-established Health System in Texas. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate from fellowship or an experienced Pediatric Endocrinologist that seeks a mission focused practice of medicine that will allow big impacts.

About the Pediatric Endocrinology opportunity

·        Affiliated with 175 bed Tertiary Care Pediatric Hospital serving South Texas

·        Join a group with over 40 Medical and Surgical subspecialties represented

·        Serve 2 million people in South Texas

·        Call is phone only and 1:5

·        Hospital rounding and consults combined with and Office patient care each week

·        Office hours are 8am- 5pm daily, M-F

·        Team has 4 MDs, 1NP, Nutritionist, 3 RNs, Social Worker, and Nurse Coordinator

·        Cover hospital rounds and see patients with Diabetes, Growth disorders, Thyroid disease, Adrenal and Pituitary dysfunction

·        Travel to 3 off campus clinics each month as part of the shared schedule

·        Telehealth available

·        Teaching 50 Medical Residents during their training

·        Very supportive culture with accountability and team building events throughout the year

·        Affiliation with Texas A & M University

Requirements of the Pediatric Endocrinology opportunity

·        Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology

·        Texas State Medical license

·        Spanish speaking brings an advantage

·        Strong ability to collaborate with other Specialists

·        J1 and H1 Visa opportunity
