Orthopedic Group is looking for a Physical therapist to join team at the practice Therapy Centers.   Group sees patients with Sports injury including Professional athletes in the Washington, DC area. Huge Bonus Structure.  This PT job meets all the goals- salary, team culture, time with Surgeon, location.  Most of the PT team have been with the group for over 10 years. About the Physical Therapist opportunity

  • Multi Surgeon Orthopedic Group
  • Hand, Wrist Surgeon, Total Joints, Foot and Ankle Surgeon, Sports Surgeon (very little Spine)
  • Patient evals and follow ups are 40 minutes to allow more billable hours and provide easy scheduling
  • PTA with over 15 years of experience
  • PT / OT team
  • Unique patient base that is motivated and engaged in treatment process
  • Therapy Center adjacent to Surgeon offices so can walk to their office anytime and Surgeons visit Therapy center regularly
  • EMR is WebPT
  • No work compensation
  • See all ages Pediatrics to Geriatrics- great balance

Requirements of the Physical Therapist opportunity

  • Graduate of Physical Therapy Program with National certification
  • DC or Maryland License to Practice
  • Interest in Orthopedic Patient Recovery- post op treatment and conservative management
  • Strong understanding of Musculo-skeletal Anatomy and Physiology
  • Great team approach to patient care and strong communicator to patients and Surgeons
  • Willingness to see some Pediatrics (few patients and most are student athletes)
  • Dry needling, Lymphedema, and other professional certifications are appreciated
