Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

Neurosurgery Physician Assistant opportunity in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Work in both the OR and Clinic.  This Medical team is best ever! Many of the staff have been with the practice for over 15 years. Great mix of OR, Procedures, and Clinic patient encounters. 

About the Neurosurgery Physician Assistant position.

• See patients with Surgeon in busy Monday clinic for Back and Spine Pain, Neuroma, Aneurysm, Sub cranial Hemorrhage, carotid stenosis, AV malformation, Carpal Tunnel and more
• Busy Clinic with 75 patients in a day some weeks
• Spine and Imaging Center with MRI, CT, Angiogram, MRA scans,
• Procedures- Lumbar Puncture, Epidural Steroid Injection, Cerebral Angiograms
• OR day- rotation with other Providers
• Join existing PA and NP team
• Clinic is pre- and post-op evaluations with injections and infusions
• EMR is EPIC
• Daily Hospital rounds shared with team
• New graduates with proven Neurosurgery focus during training are encouraged to apply

Requirements of the Neurosurgery Physician Assistant position

• Completed Master’s Level training with Surgical emphasis
• National Board Certification
• Wisconsin State Medical License
• Proven interest in Surgical subspecialty with Preceptorship, Electives study, or work experience
• Enjoy a balance of OR first assisting, Office Procedures, and Clinic patient visits
• Hospital Privileges – to be arranged
• Interest in Vascular and Nerve anatomy and pathology
• Comfort reading and learning Radiography of the field

• Salary is $100,000-$145,000 depending on experience in OR and Neurovascular disease
