About the Family Medicine Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity

  • Private Practice- a refreshing way to care for patients
  • Physician is excellent mentor and loved by patients
  • One year of experience is required, not ideal opportunity for recent graduate
  • Practice has large patient panel from surrounding IT corridor
  • Patients are compliant and participate in holistic care
  • Pediatric patients are 15-20 % of practice
  • Women’s Health Exam- Pelvic and Pap Smear
  • Office hours are 8am – 5 pm Monday thru Friday
  • Lunch Break daily 12-1
  • Shared phone call with Physician- calls are extremely rare trust me
  • EMR is Athena
  • See 20-25 patients a day
  • Patient population is 90 % private insurance and 10 % Medicare
  • Supportive team
  • Joint injections, trigger point injections
  • No evenings or weekends

Requirements of the Family Medicine Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner opportunity

  • Graduate of master’s level PA or NP Program with focus on Primary Care and interest in seeing patients across the lifespan
  • Board certification
  • Texas State Medical License
  • Comfort with EMR and taking notes and documenting patient encounters each day
  • Interest in small practice with focus on quality over quantity
  • Comfort and experience with Women’s Health exam
