Family Medicine/Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position opportunity near Sanford, North Carolina.   Motivated new graduates living on southeast side of Raleigh are encouraged to apply. Practice serves a younger patient population, so focus is wellness and less chronic disease follow up like most Internal Medicine Practices. Health promotion and holistic approach to patients. Multiple Providers working together.  Never feel alone. 

Live near growing suburbs of Raleigh in Holly Springs, Fuqua Varina, or area around Fayetteville and Spring Lake and work a flexible schedule with a great team. Physician owner has great energy, is passionate about teaching, and continues to be involved clinically with patients.  Great spot for a Provider who prefers wellness exams and wants to move away from chronic patients with multiple co-morbidities. 

About the Family Medicine PA or NP opportunity

  • Busy two office practice- MD and PA/NP team see up to 120 patients a day
  • Each Provider sees 35-40 patients
  • Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8-6, Friday 8-4, and Saturday 8-12
  • Providers work 40 hours each week with flexible schedule including 10-hour days.
  • Every 5th Saturday (half day) rotation shared with all Providers
  • Office provides Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Care (not a large Geriatric patients)
  • Most patients are Military spouses and children
  • 2-4 Providers working side by side, even on Saturdays
  • New office opening within the year
  • EMR is cloud-based Azalea Health
  • Medical Assistant rooms the patient, does vitals, and enters the HPI
  • Patient day is balanced between wellness and walk-in appointments
  • No Women’s Health
  • Some suturing

Requirements of the Family Medicine PA or NP opportunity

  • Graduate with master’s degree
  • National Board certification completed
  • North Carolina State Medical License Complete
  • DEA
  • Demonstrated interest in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Primary Care in work or clinical training
  • Comfort working at a busy pace
  • Strong Technology experience to allow efficient EMR documentation
