Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant opportunity just west of Atlanta.  Only 15 – 10 hour shifts each month.  Moving to a revenue model so huge opportunity to increase annual income.  Day and night shifts but PAs do scheduling.  

About the ER Physician Assistant opportunity

• Work only 150 hours a month
• ER is heavily staffed
• Physicians are involved and teaching
• Separate Fast Track side
• EPIC is the EMR
• Shifts are 6am-4pm, noon-10 pm 3 pm to 1 am
• Not a major trauma center but growth in the area supports a large Provider team
• See patients for Cardiac emergencies, accidents, abdominal pain, severe headache, orthopedic injury and more

Requirements of the Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant opportunity

• Graduate of PA Program with Board Certification complete
• Georgia State Medical License
• DEA
• Proven experience and interest in fast paced work environment
• Strong note taking and documentation between each patient
• Lab and Diagnostic review
• Interest in acute and crisis care- temperament allows thinking and strong communication with team
